This world kind of sets us up to hide pure things away, As

I have relinquished you back to time itself,
Knowing it will eventually weed you out of my future.
You’re not in my thoughts going there.
Even my dreams don’t believe in you.

Drenched in wealth from head to toe,
Through stretching darkness, we simply glow,
Look at who we are.

Watch us move like the river nile,
Burning sands turned to golden isles,
Calloused hands, but
